We didn’t get to Hemlock Bluffs last week due to rain but the weather forecast looks good for Sunday. Please accept my apology for the last minute notice. Hope to see on the trail!
Here's what to expect:
There are three loop trails located in the park, all of which are combination of boardwalks, natural trails and mulch. You can see a trail map by visiting carync.gov where each trail is described in detail.
We will walk the Swift Creek Loop (0.8 miles of unpaved trails, stairs, and boardwalks). Did I mention stairs? Yes, about 100 of them in separate sections with rest areas to stop and take in the scenery. If we want more, we can continue on the Beech Tree Cove Loop (0.9 miles unpaved trail with elevation changes) to the West Hemlock Overlook.
